A Time and Space for Remembrance and Healing

Visit us for place to pray, reflect, mourn, or simply sit with your memories. Clergy from the NY Diocese will be present to offer support and prayers, and from 7am-7pm on Saturday, brief musical interludes and readings will be offered on the hour by Trinity’s staff and community of musicians.

Vigil Psalms: A Service of Prayer, Readings & Music for Healing and Comfort

At this candle-lit service, a series of readings and psalms are recited and chanted, followed by meditative musical responses led by The Choir of Trinity Wall Street and NOVUS NY with Julian Wachner, conductor. Following the service, a procession will walk to St. Paul’s Chapel, where a 48-hour vigil will begin.

This information session will explore the interaction between the mind and body, and how it can impact both our mental and physical health. It will explore how chronic disease, if not adequately controlled, can lead to pain, emotional distress, and physical hardship. Lastly, this talk will integrate how mindfulness exercises, like meditation, can assist individuals in achieving mind-body balance, enabling individuals to develop a positive attitude for maintaining their overall health.
