Community Discussion: Addressing the Needs of Older Adults

Neighborhood Support Convening

Wednesday, March 19, 8:30am–12pm | Trinity Commons 

Join a half-day convening for providers and advocates serving older adults in Lower Manhattan. We’ll discuss the unique experiences and needs of this population, assess whether those needs are being met, and explore innovative ways to provide effective and sustainable support in our community.  

This gathering includes a keynote address from Commissioner Lorraine Cortés-Vázquez, NYC Department for the Aging, a panel discussion featuring Rich Baum, president and CEO, Educational Alliance; Darren Bloch, CEO and executive director, Greenwich House; and Cindy Singh, vice president of older adult services, Henry Street Settlement, moderated by Lorelei A. Vargas, chief community impact officer, Trinity Church NYC; and closing remarks by Rimas Jasin, executive director of PSS (Presbyterian Senior Services). 

This convening is hosted by Trinity Church NYC Neighborhood Support.
