Sunday Sermon, The Rev. Matthew Welsch: “Small Acts of Love Change the World”

“Being a follower of Jesus is not about power,” preaches the Rev. Matthew Welsch. “It’s about love.” By imitating Jesus’s example — using what power we have to help ordinary people in our ordinary lives — we join his work to bring healing and wholeness to our communities. “We shouldn’t wait for a miracle to try to bring about positive change,” says Father Matt. “It is in small acts of love that God changes the world.”
