Heroes of Conscience: A Tribute to Dietrich Bonhoeffer

In 1993, Trinity Television produced Heroes of Conscience, a musical tribute to Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the German clergyman and theologian who plotted to assassinate Adolf Hitler, and also honors his brother-in-law Hans von Dohnányi, and members of the resistance movement. The video features a documentary about Bonhoeffer's life, narrated by Bill Moyers, and a memorial benefit concert conducted by Bonhoeffer's nephew, Christoph von Dohnányi, then Music Director of the Cleveland Orchestra.
