Sunday Sermon, The Rev. Kristin Kaulbach Miles: “Seek, Imitate, Gather”

Lent is an opportunity to address our tendency to assign blame when times are tough, an impulse that can prevent us from loving God and our neighbor. Instead of casting aspersions, preaches Mother Kristin Miles, we can seek perspective to both understand our own limits and see ourselves as part of something larger. We can imitate Jesus by serving, forgiving, and tending to one another. And instead of pointing fingers, we can gather in unity, because that’s how we know and understand God.
