PIPES: A Season of Celebration
This fall, Trinity Church pulls out all the stops with musical performances celebrating the magnificence of our three glorious new pipe organs.
Marking the culmination of a 10-year plan to replace the instruments in historic St. Paul’s Chapel, the intimate Chapel of All Saints, and the nave of Trinity Church itself, the season highlights the captivating versatility and sheer power of what Mozart famously called, “the King of Instruments.” From the opening concert featuring trailblazing virtuoso Anna Lapwood to Stephen Tharp’s adaptation of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring that unleashes the organ’s full range of symphonic sound to recitals by Trinity’s own electrifying soloists Alcée Chriss and Avi Stein, the lineup will delight longtime organ enthusiasts and win over new fans. Join us to celebrate the instruments that will bring the joy of music to Trinity’s community for years to come!
