Trinity Sunday Sermon, The Rev. Kristin Miles, "Instruments of Wisdom at Work”

“The peace of the Trinity is more like a verb; it is lived into.” Trinity Sunday is many things, preaches Mother Kristin. It is a day when mystery is front and center and also a day when the dynamic unity of Three in One – Creator, Redeemer, Sanctifier – “calls us to resist over simplification”. It is also an opportunity to pause and consider a single question: what have you made in your life that reflects the architecture of wisdom?

“A meal of hospitality; a garden; a vocation; a perspective; a relationship; a path of recovery; a community; a refuge; an opportunity?” The readings are Proverbs 8:1–4, 22–31; Psalm 8; Romans 5:1–5; and John 16:12–15.
