Life is harder when, in our relationships, we avoid what’s awkward or uncomfortable. Caring for one another takes time and effort. When we face hard feelings, preaches the Rev. Kristin Kaulbach Miles, we avoid getting stuck in our sadness and disappointment. We make room to create new stories, to gather despite our discomfort, and to be surprised by goodness we never expected. “Know that we were made — we are here — for one another.”
