Sunday Sermon, The Rev. Jorge Ortiz: “Human Dignity Is Sacred”

“Today we celebrate that human dignity is something sacred,” preaches the Rev. Jorge Ortiz on Pride Sunday. “And no matter who you are . . . you are worthy.” In the face of legal and political action that threatens the safety and wellbeing of queer people, we stand together and proclaim that our LGBTQIA+ siblings are a treasure to be valued. “You are, undoubtedly, a very special light that shines brightly and enriches the life of our faith community.”
