The Mass Bail Out in New York City, designed to free women and children from Rikers Island Jail, is a local movement, but one that’s relevant for any church congregation committed to prison ministry. A visitor to Trinity’s Sunday Eucharist October 14, the Most Rev. Mark Strange who is bishop of the Scottish Episcopal Church, says he was inspired by Trinity’s advocacy and involvement in the issue, and was motivated to act in his own country.
