Comfort at One: Sandbox Percussion

Today we feature our most popular video from 2020: an amazing virtual performance from our principal percussionists in NOVUS NY—Sandbox Percussion. The score for Jason Treuting's extremes leaves a lot up to the performers—it calls for a high sound, a low sound, a sound that keeps a steady pulse, and some kind of pitched instrument. This version is a re-imagination of the piece, with the percussionists using sounds from items they found at home.
