Comfort at One: “Pillar V” from Andy Akiho’s Seven Pillars - Sandbox Percussion World Premiere

Today for Comfort at One, we are thrilled to present Sandbox Percussion in their WORLD PREMIERE virtual performance of “Pillar V” from Andy Akiho’s Seven Pillars.  This epic video was conceived, directed, and produced by David Michalek, with movement direction by Francesca Harper and additional choreography by Reggie ‘Regg Roc’ Gray. Special thank you to Michael Joseph McQuilken for his artistic contributions to this film, and to the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston for hosting a developmental residency.
