11:15am Sermon, The Rev. Phillip A. Jackson: "Holding on to Our Truth"
November 1, 2020
The next few days and weeks may undoubtedly be tough, but are nothing compared to the ordeals of our biological ancestors and Christian forerunners, explained the Rev. Phillip A. Jackson in today's November 1 All Saints’ Day Holy Eucharist sermon. While we may feel threatened or anxious, he urges us to stay kind, courageous, and steadfast in our faith: “Remember: God saves us. No political party, or political figure can endanger us or take away the Truth that you, here today and watching online, all of us together, are children of God.” The readings are Revelation 7:9-17; Psalm 34:1-10, 22; 1 John 3:1-3; and Matthew 5:1-12.
