Artists of all levels are invited to explore Ethiopian Christian art and its guardian angel tradition. We will be guided to paint our own guardian angels, led by liturgical artist Laura James, whose work employs the ancient Ethiopian Christian way of icon making and helps Black people see themselves in their sacred texts.
