Today’s Comfort at One includes three cantatas from a 2015 Bach at One concert and begins with a stunning organ prelude, Christ, unser Herr, zum Jordan kam, BWV 684, performed by Director of Music Julian Wachner.
Under the leadership of Stephen Sands, Downtown Voices has been working closely with renowned pedagogue Dr. Donald Dumpson and the Philadelphia Heritage Chorale for the past few months. Hear the culmination of this partnership in today’s Comfort at One: a virtual performance of Acclamation from Gospel Mass by Robert Ray.
Comfort at One continues presenting our Thursday Pipes at One series from the inauguration of the Noack organ at St. Paul’s Chapel in 2018. Today’s organ recital is from February 20, 2018 and is performed by Frederick Jodry.
