On the eve of Ascension Day, The Choir of Trinity Wall Street and Trinity Baroque Orchestra perform an all-Bach concert conducted by Avi Stein. Exploring the full emotional range of the human experience, from anguish to elation and from despair to hope, Ascendit presents Bach’s Ascension Oratorio, Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, the motet Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied, and his dramatic Magnificat.
The collaborative spirit of the Trinity Youth Chorus comes from a dedication to inclusion and creating a safe and inspiring space to learn, perform, and give back to the community. The choruses from Trinity and partner programs join forces in a spring concert with programming focused on spreading love, hope, and joy. Alumni of the Jazz House Kids program will be joining to accompany the choirs.
Online and in-person. Free; reservations not requred.
