Foundations

Sundays, April 19–May 17, 1pm, Trinity Commons
Foundations is a class for anyone interested in joining The Episcopal Church or learning more about Christianity, especially adults considering membership or preparing for baptism at Trinity Church. Together, we’ll explore Scripture, theology, and church history — and how they influence our life as a community of faith.
Foundations is offered twice a year:
Foundations Fall offers an introduction to the Christian faith, worship at Trinity, and our parish community. Registration is recommended for adults preparing for baptism on All Saints Sunday (November 1, or the first Sunday that falls after November 1).
Foundations Spring covers the Anglican tradition, including the Book of Common Prayer, the sacraments, the history of The Episcopal Church, and more. Registration is recommended for adults preparing for baptism, confirmation, or reception into The Episcopal Church at Pentecost (50 days after Easter).
Registrants are encouraged to take part in both five-week courses and join a community of fellow learners.
Whether or not you have previously been a member of a church or participated in Christian worship, we welcome you! This is a space to learn, ask questions, and decide if Trinity feels like your church home.
