Compline by Candlelight provides peace and stillness as one week ends and another begins. Tonight, hear Downtown Voices improvise Arnold Schoenberg's Friede auf Erden, Op. 13 and Randall Svane's The Lord’s Prayer (US Premiere).
Our pets bless us with their presence, personality, and companionship. On Sunday, October 1, before the feast of St. Francis, patron saint of animals and ecology, we’ll thank God for all creation in a short service in Trinity Church that includes a blessing of each animal present. All our neighbors are invited to bring their beloved pet friends to the church for the service, and to join us on the patio afterward for treats and social time.
Join Downtown Voices on September 24, at 8pm, in Trinity Church for Compline by Candlelight, an ancient rite of prayers to end the day. Stephen Sands, conductor
