Trinity Remembers St. Francis: Blessing the Animals

The feast of St. Francis of Assisi is observed annually on October 4. On or around that date, and during the entire first week of October, many churches, including Trinity Church Wall Street, honor the spirit of St. Francis by inviting animals, and their human companions, to receive a blessing.
