Comfort at One continues our Wednesday series of Choral Meditations, recorded this past summer by The Choir of Trinity Wall Street. Today's performance features O Sacred Head by David Hurd in addition to works by Elliott Schenck, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Walford Davies, and William Byrd.

Trinity Church hosted a special Holy Eucharist service on September 12, 2021, as part of our Observance of the 20th Anniversary of September 11, 2001. Today’s Comfort at One brings you the music from this beautiful service, including stunning musical passages from Requiem by Gabriel Fauré.

For today’s Comfort at One, we offer a favorite Bach at One concert from 2015 with Prelude in F Sharp Minor, BuxWV 146, and Bach cantatas Wo soll ich fliehen hin, BWV 5, and Ein ungefärbt Gemüte, BWV 24.

Comfort at One presents our first installment with Amplify Female Composers, a new platform created by organists Carolyn Craig and Janet Yieh. Watch The Choir of Trinity Wall Street perform Sarah MacDonald’s Sing, My Soul, His Wondrous Love, Melanie De More’s Blessed Be!, Vittoria Aleotti’s Miserere mei, Deus, and Cecilia McDowall’s Love Incorruptible.

For today’s Comfort at One we bring you 11 performances that were given in commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 from our weekend of music at St. Paul’s Chapel. Ranging from early music to jazz and pop, this musical collage of performances showcases the diversity of Trinity’s programming and the talent of our extended family of musicians who are dedicated to bringing healing and solace to those in need.

Today for Comfort at One, this 2019 Bach + One performance features members of The Choir of Trinity Wall Street alongside Trinity Baroque Orchestra performing J.S. Bach’s Meine Seel erhebt den Herren, BWV 10, and Johann Freidrich Fasch's Concerto in D for Trumpet, Two Oboes and Strings, FaWV L:D1.

Comfort at One will continue the Wednesday series of Choral Meditations this season with newly recorded works by The Choir of Trinity Wall Street. This performance features Obrecht’s Salve Regina, Regina Coeli by Gombert, and Bruckner’s Ave Maria.

Comfort at One presents the last monumental WORLD PREMIERE from Andy Akiho’s Seven Pillars, commissioned and performed by Sandbox Percussion. Today we present “Pillar VII,” a stunning video created by Michael Joseph McQuilken and commissioned by Trinity Church Wall Street.
