Comfort at One: Josquin Des Prez

As 2021 marks the 500th anniversary of Josquin Des Prez’s death, today for Comfort at One we bring you a special holiday concert performed by The Choir of Trinity Wall Street under the direction of Julian Wachner.

“Nöel et La Vierge Marie: a Franco-Flemish Christmas Celebration” was presented in 2013 as part of Trinity's 12th Night Festival and features Motets of Binchois, Brumel, Busnois, Dufay, Mouton, Obrecht, and Ockeghem, interspersed with movements of Josquin des Prez's Missa de Beata Virgine.
