Trinity Church Wall Street, in its latest set of grants, has awarded $23.4 million to organizations in New York City, the U.S., and internationally. Most of the grants, which average more than $200,000, are going to organizations in New York City that are focused on affordable housing, homelessness, racial justice, and criminal justice reform.

The Vestry of Trinity Church Wall Street announced today that the parish has called the Rev. Phillip A. Jackson as its next Rector. Jackson, who currently serves as Trinity’s Priest-in-charge, will be the historic church’s 19th Rector.

Episcopal Relief & Development and Trinity Church Wall Street are continuing to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic globally. The partnership, supported by a $1 million renewal grant from Trinity Church Wall Street, builds upon an original $1 million grant awarded last year that reached over 2.1 million individuals in 38 countries with expanded relief efforts and strengthened resilience activities.

Trinity Church Wall Street announced no-interest loans totaling $6.5 million to respond to the needs of nonprofit organizations in New York City. The Trinity Church Grantee Loan Fund is administered by Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF) and is providing no-interest loans to 12 Trinity grantees that are working in housing, homelessness, and racial justice.

Episcopal Relief & Development is continuing to support partners in the United States and around the world in providing targeted assistance in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Trinity Church Wall Street is providing a second round of emergency response grants totaling $675,500 to support Anglican dioceses, seminaries, and colleges in Africa, Latin America, and Asia that are facing multiple challenges due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Funding supports 100 grantees, most with strong focus on criminal justice and keeping people stably housed.
