The wisdom and rhythms of the lectionary help us unlock the cyclical mysteries of life on earth. Week after week, our ancient texts open portals in our hearts and minds, allowing us to reimagine ways of being in the world and in relationship with God and one another.
Our pets bless us with their presence, personality, and companionship. On Sunday, October 1, before the feast of St. Francis, patron saint of animals and ecology, we’ll thank God for all creation in a short service in Trinity Church that includes a blessing of each animal present. All our neighbors are invited to bring their beloved pet friends to the church for the service, and to join us on the patio afterward for treats and social time.
