When Mary Magdalene encounters the risen Jesus in the garden that first Easter morning, she recognizes him because he calls her by name. May we open our hearts to experience God in our own lives this Easter — and remember we are loved, called, and forgiven.
The Liturgy of Good Friday, including the Passion Gospel according to John chanted by The Choir of Trinity Wall Street, the Solemn Collects, devotional hymns, Veneration of the Cross, Communion from the Reserved Sacrament, and anthems. Veneration of the Cross continues until 3pm with the 33 tolls of the Trinity bells.
Children’s worship materials will be available during this service, and nursery care will be offered on the mezzanine. Children must be registered for the school year to take part in nursery care.
