In her Candlelight Baroque recital Comfort from Home, virtuoso violinist Alana Youssefian will take a rare gut string approach to Johann Sebastian Bach’s Partita for Violin No. 2 in D Minor, BWV 1004, which includes the beloved and monumental Chaconne. Performing this work alongside selections from solo violin repertoire throughout history, Alana will create a unique experience that brings together a variety of performance styles in an inspired concert sure to bring you solace during this difficult time.
