Trains to and from Metro North’s Wassaic train station run regularly out of Grand Central Terminal in New York City via the Harlem Line. The retreat center is located 30 minutes away and offers a courtesy bus with one prearranged pick-up time for themed retreats. For groups of five or more who need to be picked up and dropped off, please email or call the office to inquire about bus service availability at least 14 days before your retreat begins.

Morning Star Car Service is our recommended form of transportation from the Wassaic train station, as Uber availability is limited in the area. Please contact them in advance to arrange your ride. Estimated fare from Wassaic to Trinity Retreat Center is $50.

From New York City

Driving the 100 miles from NYC to Trinity Retreat Center typically takes 2 hours and 20 minutes, with the last part of the journey winding through the beautiful hills of New England. You know you’re close when you arrive at the historic West Cornwall covered bridge that takes motorists and bicyclists across the Housatonic River to Lower River Road.

From Boston

The retreat center is 2 hours 48 minutes (145 miles) via I-84 East and I-90 East southwest of Boston.

The Trinity Retreat Center offers free parking.

By Air

If you’re flying into Hartford, the retreat center is about 47 miles (1 hour 15 minutes) to the west. We do not currently operate a shuttle service to Bradley International Airport. Please contact Morning Star Car Service in advance to arrange airport pick-up and drop-off or rent a car. Our parking is free.
