Personal Retreats, Small Groups, and Sabbaticals

A woman walks the labyrinth at Trinity Retreat Center

“Come away by yourselves and rest awhile.” Mark 6:31

In a cultural moment dominated by business and busy-ness, the simple act of resting becomes radical. In claiming rest, we remind ourselves and one another that our worth is rooted not in what we do or make or achieve, but in our deep belovedness as creatures of God. When we sink into stillness, we allow the divine spirit to speak within us, reorienting us to what matters most.

At Trinity Retreat Center, our work is to create space for rest. There's plenty to do here in West Cornwall, but our guests often find that their most valuable time is spent doing nothing at all: simply being here, reconnecting with God, with one another, and with their own soul's yearning.

We invite you to retreat with us, whether as an individual or with a group. (See our offerings for larger groups.) Come for a weekend or a longer sabbatical. Bring your writing project or your stack of unread books, or better yet, bring nothing but your walking shoes, a journal, and an open heart.
