Trinity Church announces its 2024-2025 season, featuring programming encompassing social, political, personal, and spiritual themes, and music from the medieval era to the modern day.
Fifty years ago, on July 29, 1974, eleven women were ordained as Episcopal priests at Philadelphia’s Church of the Advocate. The “Philadelphia Eleven” paved the way for The Episcopal Church’s approval of women’s ordination two years later. The Rev. Kristin Kaulbach Miles, Trinity Church’s director of Parish Life, reflects on what this anniversary means to her.
The Rev. Patrick Williams is Trinity's new associate director of Pastoral Care. In this role, Father Patrick will tend to the spiritual needs of Trinity’s community, supporting parishioners in their moments of sadness, joy, and celebration. Before coming to Trinity, Father Patrick was the priest-in-charge of St. Martin’s and St. Luke’s in Harlem, and a chaplain at the Cathedral School of St. John the Divine.

Trinity Church is proud to support organizations like Pride in the Pews, a nonprofit that works with Black faith leaders to protect and promote the well-being of Black LGBTQ+ people. Through a partnership with Trinity, Pride in the Pews Founder Don Abram created the Black Church Equality Fellowship, which gives leaders the tools they need to transform their congregations into safe spaces for queer Christians.

Trinity Church's Choral Scholars program places early career singers with The Choir of Trinity Wall Street and St. Paul’s Chapel Choir. The program officially launched last fall with 10 scholars, all between the ages of 23 and 29, who are recent graduates with a deep interest in ensemble singing.
