Trinity Youth Taizé Pilgrimage Information Session
Please join Trinity Youth and Fr. Matt in the Community Kitchen after the 9:15am Family Service on October 9 to learn more about our annual pilgrimage to Taizé. In this information session, we’ll hear from last year’s pilgrims, ask questions, and get excited about this year’s pilgrimage.
All active members of Trinity Youth in grades 9-12 are invited to join us for a pilgrimage to Taizé on February 16-26, 2023. This year, we will spend a few days in Lisbon, Portugal before journeying to Taizé. While there, we will join the brothers and youth from around the world to enter the monastery’s rhythm of prayer, service, and rest.
The Taizé Community in Burgundy, France is composed of 100+ brothers who originate from 30+ countries. Since its founding in 1940, the monastery has become a major site of Christian pilgrimage, particularly for young people.
Registration for the 2023 Taizé Pilgrimage will be open from October 17 to November 14. The trip’s estimated cost is $2,600 but financial aid is available so all interested youth are able to attend. Please email Fr. Matt for more information.
