The fatal shooting by police of Michael Brown, a young, unarmed black man in a St Louis suburb, has again raised the issue of racial profiling in the United States. The Rev. Mark Bozzuti-Jones, of Trinity Wall Street, sees a connection to the profiling of the Canaanite woman in the Gospel (Matthew 15) and he urges that we heed the uncomfortable lessons both stories present to all of us.
