Sunday Sermon,The Rev. Phillip A. Jackson: “Christian Courage”

The Easter gospel, Father Phil preached, reminds us that death no longer rules us. He urged us to use this Christian fearlessness as a tool against the divisions that plague our world. “Divisions come from fear. You no longer have to fear. So you no longer have to divide,” he offered. “If you find yourself in a situation where you feel invited to contribute to division, have the Christian courage to not contribute,” he urged us. “Step back. Look in the tomb, and see . . . that he is gone. And that you need not fear.”
