Sunday Sermon,The Rev. Phillip A. Jackson: "Bear Fruit That Will Last”

Why do we look back in order to look forward? Time brings clarity, and new contexts allow us to continue our faith in Jesus’s eternal word. Father Phil reminds us that Jesus said “And I appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last.” Though there is a lot of noise these days, and many people will compete for your attention, Jesus asks that we stay with him. That we abide with him, remain with him. He asks that we stay in his word.
