“As Christians, we are called upon to teach peace,” preached the Rt. Rev. Eugene Taylor Sutton on Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday. In a culture awash in violence, it’s nonviolent action that time and again effectively combats injustice. This way of peace modeled by Jesus and Dr. King shows us it’s the power of love that truly reshapes the world.
