“Repentance is a gift,” preaches the Rev. Michael Bird. When we repent, we acknowledge all the things we carry that weigh us down — and we let them go. And on the other side of release, we recover our relationships with one another and with our deeply loving God. Unencumbered and unhindered, we receive God’s love with open arms.
