Sunday Sermon, The Rev. Kristin Kaulbach Miles, “The Joy That Binds Us”

In her sermon this morning, Mother Kristin recounted a day spent witnessing bittersweet “moments of joy” in churches around New York City. She invites us this week to “follow the manual of Saint Paul” and celebrate instances of unity, joy, and light wherever we encounter them, even – and especially – if they emerge from places of pain.
