Epiphany Holy Eucharist

January 6, 2021

Holy Eucharist according to Rite Two in the Book of Common Prayer.

Christmastide concludes—and a new liturgical season begins—with the Epiphany, which is one of the seven principal feasts of the Episcopal Church and is celebrated on January 6 each year. The day commemorates the epiphany, or manifestation, of God among us in human form. Traditionally, it also denotes the arrival of the Magi (also known as the Three Kings or the Wise Men) in Bethlehem to pay homage to the newly-born Christ child with gifts.
