Corrymeela: A Legacy of Peacemaking

Among the speakers at the recent TI2018 theological conference “Values in Action” was the Irish poet, author, and theologian Pádraig Ó Tuama, leader of the Corrymeela Community for Peace and Reconciliation. In this 20th anniversary year of the Good Friday agreement that began to bring peace to Northern Ireland after three decades of violence, we take a closer look at Corrymeela, whose reconciliation work began even before the start of the “troubles” and has expanded and continued to this day.
