Advent Explained

Advent always begins on the fourth Sunday before December 25. When the season begins this year on December 2, you’ll notice a change in the color of the vestments at Trinity Church Wall Street and in many other churches around the world. In this video segment produced before the start of the rejuvenation of the church nave, Trinity parish priests explain that Advent can and should be considered much more cosmic than simply a season of preparation for Christmas.
