11:15am Sunday Sermon, The Rev. Kristin Miles: "Peace Within Our Walls"

“From the very first line of the very first reading on this very first day of the new year we are invited to a vision.”

This vision for Advent, preaches Mother Kristin Miles, is one of deepest longing for peace. “We are to approach this longing like approaching a baby," she offers. "We do not rush in with rash loudness and commanding opinions. It is an approach in which there is the possibility of transformation in us, so that we may receive the blessing we hear in Psalm 122: ‘Peace be within your walls and quietness within your towers.’”
