Pride Sunday Sermon: A Call to Action. Watch the Video.

The Rev. Matt Welsch reminds us that Pride Sunday is certainly about affirmation, recognizing our unique identities, including diverse sexualities, as gifts from God, but it’s more. Pride Sunday is also a call to action, to enter liminal spaces, like the woman in the gospel who bravely moved into a huge crowd of people, against societal norms, trusting that Jesus would heal her from her hemorrhage. “For all of us on Pride Sunday…I invite you to embrace the transgressive nature of our faith.” Watch the sermon.
