Hour Children Workshops 2018

Trinity Church Wall Street continues its eight-year-long partnership with Hour Children, an organization that works with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women and their children. Each year, volunteers help facilitate job skills workshops for Hour Children’s Working Women program, which helps formerly incarcerated women enter or re-enter the workforce.

These workshops provide job-readiness skills and promote self-confidence, and volunteers are crucial to their success. The workshops include teaching communication and social networking skills, managing professional relationships, and social etiquette.

The Summer 2018 workshops also included a field trip to Brooklyn.

The Music Department of Trinity also offers a week-long music camp to the children of the moms involved in Hour Children’s Working Women program.
