We are each born with a God-shaped hole in us that throughout our lives we try to fill with many things. Of course, only God can fill it and we know exactly what that feels like. “When we find Jesus and recognize the love of God,” preaches Father Bird, “it just fits right. And then we really live.” The reading is John 6:35, 41–51.
