Family Service Sermon, The Rev. Matthew A. Welsch: "And Mary Said Yes"

Today the church celebrates Mary, a young woman who grew up “kind of in the middle of nowhere” reflects Father Matt, and was visited by an angel who asked her “if she would like to help God change the world.” After Mary said yes she sang a song “about the God of our ancestors, about how God has always loved God’s people and about how God does amazing things even when we least expect it.” The reading is the Mary’s song, the Magnificat, Luke 1:46–55.
