Episcopal Explained: The Great Vigil of Easter

The Great Vigil of Easter dates from the second century CE when new members of the Christian community were welcomed with baptism and Holy Communion. Due to the pandemic, Trinity Church Wall Street will not perform baptisms this year, but the other rich details of this annual tradition will be renewed, beginning in the darkness of Holy Saturday.
