Outreach Ministry
Trinity Church Wall Street has a long-held commitment to social justice, beginning with the founding of the Trinity Charity School in 1709 and including a wide variety of outreach programs over its history.
Trinity continues to promote justice and reconciliation today, with ministries rooted in the local community that confront racism and inequality, fight hunger, build community, and more.
Congregational Outreach & Advocacy
The Witness and Outreach Committee oversees several outreach ministries led by the congregation, including the Task Force Against Racism, a Prison Ministry, and more.
Food Assistance
With sharp rises in the unemployment rate, the cost of groceries, and the number of people seeking assistance from food pantries and soup kitchens, food insecurity is at an all-time high in New York City. Trinity remains committed to helping our neighbors in need through programs, such as Resource Connections, Compassion Meals, and the Compassion Market.
Immigrant Rights
The Episcopal Church has a long tradition of walking alongside immigrants. As we continue this work, we must understand the legal and technical categories of immigrants that include refugees, asylum seekers, and undocumented and documented immigrants. Trinity Church Wall Street stands in solidarity with all of our immigrant neighbors, especially those facing raids, deportations, and deplorable conditions at our nation's border.
Below are resources from our partners for those seeking legal counsel, direct services, and other immigration assistance efforts.
