ELECTION 2024 Protecting the Right to Vote
“The vote is the most powerful, nonviolent tool we have in a democratic society.” – Rep. John Lewis.
Join us for a workshop that educates participants on the rights of those voting from jail and encourages voter registration for the upcoming election. In examining the history of voter disenfranchisement in our country, we’ll highlight that voting is an essential way for citizens to participate in our democracy. Together we can help our friends and families create a plan to vote in the upcoming election. Join us following the 11:15am service at coffee hour in Trinity Commons. Hosted by the Trinity Prison Ministry in partnership with External Affairs and the League of Women Voters.
