Praying with Images of God: An Online Retreat Weekend with the Rev. Dr. Kathy Bozzuti-Jones
Our images of God can look like childhood impressions of a stern, punishing, or demanding parent – unless we actively explore other kinds of relationships. According to Sr. Joan Chittester, “In our conception of the image of God lies the kernel of our spiritual life.” When we slow down and explore how God is at work in our lives, we can become clear about how our images have developed since childhood. This retreat invites quiet reflection on how to deepen or expand our relationships with God through the imagery of our personal experience. Do you long to develop a more spacious, more authentic image of God for you? Led by the Rev. Dr. Kathy Bozzuti-Jones, spiritual director and mentor in faith formation.
This free retreat takes place over five half-hour sessions throughout the weekend at the following times, streamed on Facebook Live. All times are Eastern. Registration is not required.
· Friday 8–8:30pm
· Saturday 10–10:30am, 2–2:30pm, and 8–8:30pm
· Sunday 4–4:30pm
