To Love as God Loves: An Ignatian Prayer Retreat
Join us for a weekend of guided prayer drawn from Ignatian spirituality: an adaptation of “The Spiritual Exercises” by St. Ignatius of Loyola. St. Ignatius divided the exercises into four weeks, and the retreat includes sessions informed by each week, as well as invitations to pray by remembering, examining, meditating, thinking, contemplating, and imagining. As St. Ignatius writes, “Just as strolling, walking and running are bodily exercises, so every way of preparing and disposing the soul…to seek the Divine Will… is called a spiritual exercise.”
Led by the Rev. William Campbell, S.J., Catholic Jesuit priest and Director of Eastern Point Retreat House in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
