Discovery: Ordinary and Extraordinary Saints
Join the Trinity community this fall for Discovery, the education series for adults interested in how Scripture and theology can inform, shape, and enrich our lives.
We often think of saints as perfect and one dimensional. In this series we learn about the lives of people who served, sacrificed, and followed their faith calling and explore what they can teach us about our own life of faith.
Speakers include the Rev. Elizabeth Edman, author of “Queer Virtue,” Barbara Lau, executive director of the Pauli Murray Center, the Very Rev. Kelly Brown Douglas of the Episcopal Divinity School at Union Theological Seminary and Ruth Frey of Trinity’s Faith Formation department.
