Holy Eucharist: Feast of Saint Mary the Virgin
A liturgically rich expression of our faith, with sermon, communion, and musical leadership provided by The Choir of Trinity Wall Street.

Today, we celebrate the Feast of Saint Mary the Virgin, the mother of Jesus. When Jesus began spreading the good news of God's love throughout Galilee, Mary was one of the women who followed him and ministered to his needs. When her son was condemned to death, Mary kept watch over his body at the cross. After the resurrection, Mary prayed fervently with Jesus's disciples until the Holy Spirit descended on them all. Her presence on the day of Pentecost demonstrates why Christians have honored her from the earliest days of the church: Mary was always ready to prepare more room in her heart for God.
